Canvas integration
Your Canvas assignments, submitted for you.
Every other AI tool stops at writing. You still have to copy the text, format the file, open Canvas, find the assignment, and upload it before 11:59 PM. Minutely plugs straight into Canvas and closes that loop.
Connect your Canvas account once. Pick the assignment, approve the draft, and Minutely submits it directly into Canvas at the deadline — as a PDF, a Word doc, or a text entry, whichever the assignment asks for.
Free to start · no credit card · you approve every send
How the Canvas integration works
Minutely uses Canvas's official API with your own access token — generated in your Canvas account settings in about ten seconds, no school admin required.
- Pulls your live courses and assignments with real due dates
- Reads what each assignment accepts — file upload or text entry, PDF or Word
- Submits in the right format automatically, so nothing bounces
- Import a whole course into Autopilot: every upcoming assignment drafted ahead of time
- Your token is encrypted at rest, and you can disconnect any time
PDF, Word doc, or text entry — it matches the assignment
Some professors want a .docx, some lock the assignment to PDF, some only take a typed text entry. Minutely checks the assignment's allowed submission types and extensions before it ever submits, and generates exactly what Canvas will accept.
If an assignment doesn't take files or text at all — a quiz or an external tool — Minutely tells you up front instead of failing silently at the deadline.
Autopilot your whole Canvas course
Instead of pasting a syllabus, import the course. Minutely pulls every upcoming assignment with its exact due date, drafts each one in advance, and queues it to submit itself into Canvas on time. You review and approve each draft — nothing ever submits without you.
How it works
Tell Minutely the assignment, the word count, and the deadline.
Read it, edit it, or ask for a rewrite. Nothing sends without you.
Straight into Canvas, or emailed to your professor from your own inbox — right at the deadline.
Frequently asked questions
Does my school need to approve anything?+
No. You generate a personal access token in your own Canvas settings (Account → Settings → New Access Token) and paste it into Minutely. It works with any school on Canvas.
What formats can it submit?+
PDF files, Word documents (.docx), and online text entries. Minutely reads what each assignment accepts and uses the right one automatically.
What about assignments that aren't essays?+
Minutely handles written work — essays, reflections, discussion posts, reports. Quizzes and external-tool assignments can't be auto-submitted, and Minutely warns you up front when it sees one.
Is my Canvas token safe?+
It's encrypted at rest (AES-256) and only used server-side to talk to Canvas's official API. Disconnect any time in Settings and it's deleted.
Can it also email professors instead?+
Yes — Canvas is one delivery option. You can still have assignments emailed from your own Gmail for classes that collect work by email.
